                        3rd Grade Enrichment

The Enrichment Program is really the foundation of the PTG, offering classroom experiences and field trips throughout the year that elaborate and enhance the school curriculum.   Enrichment activities for the 3rd grade this year include the following:

                        Many Thanksgivings
This is a Celebration at school learning about Thanksgiving and the meaning of it.

                        Plimoth Plantation
There’s a reason why Plimoth Plantation is one of the most popular field trip destinations in New England!  At Mayflower II, The 17th-Century English Village, and the Wampanoag Home site, students are surrounded by the sights, smells and sounds of the 17th century.

                        Ben Franklin
Learning through an impersonator all about Ben Franklin and his life.

                        Starlab
Students learn about the night sky as they are challenged to make observations and think like scientists both inside and outside the STARLAB. They explore how stars are different from one another and learn to recognize star patterns in the sky from cultures around the world. In an immersive activity, students use the same tools as astronomers to better understand how we learn about the cosmos.

                        Southwick Zoo Field Trip
A day at the zoo learning about different animals and their habitats.

                        Grafton History Days
Scavenger hunt through the town to discover the history of where we live.

                        Willard Clock Museum
Take a step back in time and witness a unique and important part of America's technological, artistic, and entrepreneurial history with us at the Willard House and Clock Museum.

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
